Simple and
Affordable Video
Editing and Production
"The titles are definitely a plus - I no longer have to go into another program to edit the clips and add the titles. I will definitely pass this info along to all of the other video coordinators in the AFL."
Matt Flemming
Chicago Rush, Arena Football League

"Easy-Cut is exactly what we've been looking for.
To me, for a coach doing his own video analysis and editing, this is a practical, affordable tool that is easily understood and used. "
Scott Cramer Defensive Coordinator Verona Area HS, Verona, WI
Easy-Cut is a video editing
and production utility which we believe sets a new Price/Performance standard for sports editing
applications. It is, we think, video editing "for the rest of us".
Why Easy-Cut?
-
Easy-Cut, first and foremost is simple and affordable.
Its quick to install, quick to learn and makes it possible for someone with
only basic knowledge of computer video editing concepts to be productive
quickly.
-
Easy-Cut is ideal for watching game "film" on the computer (in a larger screen than a
lot of editors) and quickly "tagging" (cutting) and retrieving plays in a few
mouse clicks.
-
Easy-Cut works on just about any computer capable
of running Windows XP or Vista - little to no additional hardware is required.
If a computer can play digital video, it can edit it using Easy-Cut. Having
a digital camcorder, DVD burner or analog "converter" just expands the
possibilities.
-
Easy-Cut works with the Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media
Player programs that are included with Windows. In fact,
Easy-Cut works great with a number of Windows Media formats that balance file size and video quality. This makes it easy to move video around on CD's,
DVD's and USB
"memory sticks".
-
Easy-Cut works with Easy-Scout XP Professional -
for Football Coaches who want a powerful scouting program in addition to a
video editing program.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Viewing and Cutting
Easy-Cut
has a video editor that works with a variety of Digital Video file types.
This
includes those transferred from a "firewire-connected" digital camcorder, converted from DVD's
to Windows Media or AVI format,
or captured from VHS tapes to one of these supported formats.
Typical "VCR" style controls are available to pause, rewind, fast
forward and restart the play in a
resizable playback window. "Saving" a play, or "clip"
for fast retrieval is as
easy as setting the Start and Stop marker, and entering "identifying"
criteria, such as Run/Pass, Play Name, or the player's name or
number
(completely optional).
2. Retrieving plays and creating movies
Easy-Cut builds "projects" that can be searched, sorted and filtered
to produce a collection of the plays in the exact sequence desired
for playback.
Easy-Cut projects provide fast-access, data-driven video playback of one or more
digital video clips and can produce "cutups" by
extracting and then splicing clips into a new video
file.
"Cutups" are created as Windows Media or DIVX video
files, and contain the plays from the video project. The
digital video files that are created are
smaller and more "portable" than the originals - ideal for copying
to a memory stick or burning to a CD
or DVD. Windows Media files can be uploaded to a team web site,
YouTube or to one of the many new online video sharing services. For outputting to VHS tape, Easy-Cut includes a "VCR" output option
for recording on any device that can be connected to a Video Out port
(S-Video) port on a notebook computer or Graphics card.
Easy-Cut is available on a CD or immediate download. A
free 21-day trial version is available on request.
